Huawei has just launched an Android tablet- Huawei MediaPad X2. The cost of the tablet is around Rs.29,900. The tablet is expected to get a global release sometime in June this year.

Display and Build:-

The Huawei MediaPad X2 shows off a 7-inch LTPS multi touch display designed to keep you mesmerized with a resolution of “1,200 x 1,920” pixels and a rich pixel density of 323ppi. Although being so big, it has a thickness of just 7.3mm and a weight 239g and is packed in a premium metallic frame.


The tablet is powered by a HI Silicon KIRIN930 chipset housing quad-core 1.5GHz  Cortex A-53 processor and quad-core 2.0GHz Cortex A-53 processor. Together with 3GB RAM and Mali-T628 MP4 GPU, it confirms uncompromising performance. It runs on Emotion UI 3.0 based on latest Android v5.0 Lollipop OS.

Camera and Storage:-

The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a 13MP Primary camera which supports BSI sensor, LED flash and it can record 1,080p videos at 30fps. It also houses a 5MP Secondary camera. It has an internal memory of 32GB which is further expandable upto 128GB via microSD card slot.

Battery and Connectivity:-

The Huawei MediaPad X2 32GB sips juice from a sealed 5,000mAh Li-Po battery. It includes 4G LTE Cat6, voice calling, Wi-Fi 5GHz, Bluetooth v4.0, USB port, GLONASS, GPS/A-GPS for connectivity.


The Huawei MediaPad X2 is another device which goals to lessen the gap between tablets and phones.
