It is being speculated that Microsoft will reveal its new flagship Lumia phones on the 6th of October. The two phones which will be unveiled during this event are likely to be the Cityman (Lumia 950) and Talkman (Lumia 950 XL). Both the phones are planned to be powered by Windows 10 OS. As of now, the company is still speculating on the version of Windows 10 that will be launched with these phones for mobile. If rumors are to be believed, the Threshold 1 version of the Windows 10 Mobile will be launched with these two phones.
According to news that has been sourced out the Threshold 2 version of Windows 10 laptops, mobiles and tablets will be launched sometime in November. Apart from the OS version, a few specs of these two flagship phones have also been leaked by some news sources. From the looks of it, the phones are going to redefine the existence of Lumia phones.
The Lumia 950 will come with a 5.2” QHD display, and is likely to be powered with a Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with a 3 GB RAM. It will be processed by a 3000 mAh battery. On the other hand the Lumia 950 XL is likely to sport a 5.7” QHD display. It will be powered with a Snapdragon 810 Chipset coupled with a 3 GB RAM.
The camera for both phones is likely to be high end. The front facing camera is speculated at 5 MP while the rear camera will be a 21 MP one for both phones.
Apart from the flagship phones, Microsoft is also planning to launch the Surface Pro 4 tablet.
