Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are expected to be launched in the month of February at the Mobile World Congress at Barcelona 2016, but there are strong rumours surrounding the latest smartphone.

3D Touch Display Just Like the iPhone  6s: Just like the iPhone 6s, S7 will come with a pressure sensitive display which will be offering the 3D touch screen. This rumour was reported by Wall street, however, there is no further news on this part. On the other side, reports suggest that the design won’t be much different than that of S6 and S6 Edge.

Type-C USB charging: Reports coming from the Wall Street Journal are that the S7 and S7 edge will be having a type-c USB charging for high-speed charging. Google’s Nexus and OnePlus One started with the type-c USB charging for their respective smartphones and very soon Samsung will be on board.

Live Photos: Samsung is also another feature which is similar to the iPhone but the distant part is that in Samsung is that this will let users share photos as GIFs on social networks whereas in iPhone there is a sound when a photo is clicked.

It is suggested that this feature will be added later when the Samsung S7 is launched as a software update.Samsung is looking at names like Timeless to Vivid Photo for the feature.

Screen Sizes: Reports coming from Sammobile, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come in 2-screen sizes, 5.1-inch for S7 and 5.5-inch for the Galaxy S7 edge.

Slight Design Change: According to Korean Times there won’t be many changes in the design as there were before in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and S6 which saw radical changes. It is suggested that  Samsung will stick with the metal and glass design introduced with S6 series.

The newspaper quoted a source as saying, “As the S6 and S6 Edge represented progress, the S7 will have improvements both in picture quality, performance and other some new features. But because smartphones have already been commoditized, you don’t need to spend more on a surface overhaul.”
